The location of this hotel is unbeatable, situated in a quiet back alley off the bustling Nanluoguxiang. It's right in the heart of the touristy Hutong area, surrounded by great restaurants, bars, and eateries. The staff at this hotel are a real asset, with Bella on reception going above and beyond to ensure a helpful and friendly service. She organized trips to the Great Wall and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing itineraries. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, featuring beautiful Chinese furniture and nice bathrooms. The mattress in particular is top-notch, ensuring a good night's sleep.
All was just as expected and there's nothing that could be improved.

The Hutongren Hotel is in a fabulous location just off one of the most interesting Hutong alleys in Beijing. Lots to do and see on foot. The staff were just the best. Very helpful and friendly.
The bed is a futon and a bit like being in camp. Other than that, the room was just great. The public areas were rather messy and dusty.

Relaxed atmosphere, very friendly english-speaking staff, very helpful. Definite back-packers place, book swaps, local information, air of low- budget about it.
When it rained the roof leaked, soaking the furniture, falling onto a computor and bookshelves. It was amusing but slightly bonkers. The bedrooms were not affected, but they need to fix the roof. It was not a few drips, but a real torrent.

We absolutely loved the location of this hotel, as it was right in the heart of Nanluoguxiang, with plenty of options for great pubs with live music in the centre of it all! the cosy communal area was perfect for hanging out and relaxing after a day of exploring. the service was great as staff went above and beyond to help plan our trip and organise day trips, as well as providing excellent recommendations.
The bathroom was basic and lacked privacy with only a curtain separating the toilet and shower area from the rest of the room, which was a bit disappointing.

The hotel is located in the touristy Hutong area, down a quiet back alley off the buzzing Nanluoguxiang. The hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and inclusion of breakfast. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, with good English skills. The hotel pays attention to basic amenities, such as heaters for the cold Beijing weather and plenty of hot water for showers.
All was well, no improvements needed.

Perfect location, nice staff. the hotel is just steps away from food & shopping. the staff is very helpful and professional. the rooms are tidy and clean, offering a comfortable stay.
Limited shower hot water, no toilet doors. the hot water in the shower runs out quickly, which is inconvenient.

Hotel was in a bustling area, close to shops and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a great rooftop space to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset.
The room was extremely tiny and faced a busy street, making it difficult to sleep. The air conditioning was also not working properly, resulting in an uncomfortable temperature.

I loved the hotel's perfect location close to the main sightseeing spots in the city center. It was conveniently located by subway, and there were several bus lines nearby. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed spending time on the hotel's roof deck during my stay.
Can’t fault the property in any way.
